On 21 December 2023, the Bangladesh Education Board and Dhaka, on the same date together, published SSC Routine 2024 (www.educationboard.gov.bd). Secondary School Certificate (SSC), equivalent examinations, and Dakhil Exam 2024 will start same date together which is 15th February 2024. It will continue till 12th March 2024.
Each year, the number of candidates taking the SSC exam is growing. In addition, it facilitates the government in obtaining data regarding the literacy rate of Bangladesh. In 2024, the candidates taking the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination will be enrolled in 10 school boards, including one madrasa board and one technical education board. A total of 13,15,002 pupils were enrolled for the SSC exam last year. The Dhaka Education Board has the highest number of students registered for the SSC Exam 2024.

- Exam Finish Date: 12th March 2024
- Exam Time: 10.00 to 11.30
- SSC Exam Duration: 1.30 Hours
- Practical exam date: March 13, 2024 to March 20, 2024
Here are also some additional details about the SSC routine 2024
- The exam will be held in two parts, MCQ and CQ.
- The MCQ part will be 20 minutes long, and the CQ part will be 60 minutes induration.
- The total marks for the SSC exam are 100.
- The practical exam will be worth 40 marks.
